a sympathetic villain? obviously something happened in the last episode (haven’t seen it yet. last I checked it wasn’t available still!). and I have fangirled plenty. I have exactly one out of my fourteen posts dedicated to Legend of Korra. that is a greater ratio than yours!!!
I thought the third episode made him pretty sympathetic, especially as he also seems to be doing as much as he can to not kill anyone. Plus, he can also move! AAAAND I’m excited to see how Amon plays into the flashbacks Korra keeps having of her past life as Aang.
