This Week in Crits for Water: 4/17 to 4/23

Holy guacamole, guys, we’re above $1000 and nearing $1500. This is EXCELLENT. I am so happy and gleeful all the time. Think of the change we’re making for people’s lives! WAHOO. Let’s keep it up!

This week is the week of the double J: Jodi and Jessica. So get your “refresh” button ready.

But, oh yeah, always, always, ALWAYS read the instructions first. Make sure you understand them. If you don’t, ASK ME. Please! I know this is confusing, and though we may be operating on different time zones, I’ll do my best to clear things up ASAP!

Lets DO this!

4/17: Author Jodi Meadows‘ first 5000 word critique auction. Maybe Kaylee the ferret will give her opinion, too. From 12:00am to 11:59pm, EST.

4/18: Jodi Meadows‘ second 5000 word critique auction. From 12:00am to 11:59pm, EST.

4/19: Jodi Meadows‘ third 5000 word critique auction, from 12:00am to 11:59pm, EST. (Are you seeing a pattern here? :P)

4/20: Jodi Meadows‘ random drawing for a 5000 word critique. There will be TWO winners! Huzzah! Pay attention to the blog or follow me on twitter for instructions and donation amounts. Entries will be accepted for 48 hours, from 9:00am on the 20th to 9:00am on the 22nd.

4/22: Finishing off her excellent run, lit agent intern and author Jessica Lei‘s LAST random drawing for a first chapter critique. This is an excellent chance to see inside the brain of someone who will be evaluating your work for an agent! Entries will be accepted for 48 hours, from 9:00am on the 22nd to 9:00am on the 24th.

Get ready guys! Remember every $20 is enough to provide one person in a developing country access to clean, fresh water–and through that access, give him or her time to go to school, support the family income, grow supplementary food, and, oh yeah, wash their hands. WOOOOOO!
